1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the services of UKi Productions ("UKi Productions," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), the client ("Client," "you," or "your") agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement governing all services rendered by UKi Productions.

2. Scope of Services

UKi Productions offers professional event planning, production, and entertainment services throughout South Florida, including but not limited to:

  • - DJ and Master of Ceremony (MC) services
  • - Live musical performances (e.g., saxophonists, drummers, harpists)
  • - Audio, visual, and lighting equipment
  • - Video premieres and multimedia presentation support
  • - Custom décor and full-scale event coordination

All services are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of deposits as outlined in Section 3.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

3.1 Initial Booking Deposit: A refundable deposit equal to ten percent (10%) of the total estimated cost is required to initiate the booking process. UKi Productions shall have forty-eight (48) hours from receipt to confirm service availability.

3.2 Service Confirmation: Upon confirmation, an invoice will be issued requesting an additional forty percent (40%) deposit. Client shall have five (5) business days to remit payment. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the initial ten percent (10%) deposit.

3.3 Final Payment: The remaining fifty percent (50%) balance is due no later than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the event date.

3.4 Accepted Payment Methods: Venmo, PayPal, Square, or check payable to UKi Productions. Convenience fees apply to digital transactions. Florida state tax (7%) shall be applied to all services.

3.5 Consequences of Late Payment: Failure to remit Step 2 results in forfeiture of initial deposit. Failure to remit Step 3 may result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of all prior payments.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Client Cancellations:

  • - Prior to Step 2: Full refund of initial 10% deposit if cancellation is made before service confirmation.
  • - After Step 2: If cancellation occurs thirty (30) or more days prior to the event, the 10% deposit will be refunded; the 40% deposit will be forfeited.
  • - Within thirty (30) days of the event: All payments made to date are non-refundable.

4.2 Cancellation After Final Payment

  • - Cancellations made thirty (30) or more days prior to the event: 10% refund; 90% forfeited.
  • - Within thirty (30) days: All funds are forfeited.

4.3 UKi Productions’ Right to Cancel: Cancellations may only occur in cases of force majeure, illness, accident, or unavailability of key personnel or equipment. In such cases, all payments made will be refunded in full. Alternative arrangements will be offered when feasible.

4.4 Force Majeure: Includes but is not limited to severe weather, natural disaster, government restriction, or venue compromise. These situations will be addressed on a case-by-case basis, with focus on rescheduling or proportional refund depending on incurred costs.

5. Communication Protocol

All event-related communication shall occur exclusively through the designated UKi Productions representative. Direct communication with subcontracted talent or vendors is strictly prohibited unless authorized in writing by UKi Productions.

6. Liability Waiver & Damages

6.1 UKi Productions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service interruptions, venue limitations, or attendee behavior.

6.2 The Client agrees to ensure safe and suitable conditions for all UKi Productions personnel and equipment. The Client is financially liable for any damage caused.

6.3 UKi Productions assumes no responsibility for actions of third-party vendors not contracted through the Company.

7. Photo & Video Usage Consent

7.1 By default, the Client grants UKi Productions permission to document the event via photo and video for use in promotional materials, including but not limited to website content, marketing campaigns, and social media.

7.2 Clients wishing to opt out of such media usage must submit a written request prior to the event date.

7.3 This release includes imagery of performers, staff, décor, and other elements associated with UKi Productions’ contributions to the event.

8. Confidentiality & Privacy

8.1 Confidential Information: “Confidential Information” includes all non-public, proprietary, or sensitive data shared by the Client with UKi Productions, including names, contact information, guest lists, financials, event details, and any media.

8.2 Non-Disclosure: UKi Productions shall not disclose, disseminate, or use Confidential Information for any purpose other than the performance of services under this agreement, unless required by law or expressly authorized by the Client in writing.

8.3 Internal Access: Confidential Information will only be shared internally on a need-to-know basis with personnel bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.

8.4 Public Disclosure: UKi Productions shall not publish, display, or promote any materials from the Client’s event where the Client has indicated a preference for privacy under Section 7.

8.5 Exclusions: This section does not apply to information that (a) is public, (b) was lawfully received from another party, (c) was independently developed, or (d) is disclosed by legal mandate.

8.6 Survival: These obligations remain in effect after completion or termination of services.
